Add unique email and form validation

In Experiences by Jebbit, you can prevent consumers from submitting the same email address or phone number more than once in the same experience. This is especially useful for contests, sweepstakes, or any experience where you want to limit responses to one per user and maintain clean data in your CRM.

Before you begin

  • Make sure your experience includes an Email or Phone Number input field.


Set up unique email or phone number validation

  1. Click on email/phone field input within the screen.

  2. In the left-side Input Controls section, check the box labeled Disable Duplicate Submissions. Once enabled, this setting blocks users from submitting the same email or phone number more than once in the experience.

Tip: When users try to re-enter the same value, an error message will appear to stop them from continuing. You can customize the error message that appears. Learn how to do this here.
