Send emails/text messages based on responses

Updated today

Experiences by Jebbit allows you to send personalized emails and text messages based on how a user responds during an experience. This helps you engage users at the right moment with relevant content, increasing the likelihood of conversions and brand connection.

Before you begin

  • Make sure your experience includes a Lead Capture screen to collect email addresses or phone numbers.

Add an Email or Text Message trigger

  1. In the builder map, click the plus (+) button from an open node that comes after a Lead Capture screen.

  2. Choose Send an Email or Send a Text Message.

Note: Communication triggers only work when placed after a Lead Capture screen. Make sure you're collecting either an email address or a phone number.

Send an email trigger

  1. Choose from:

    • Upload an HTML file.

    • Use a Jebbit email template.

    • Use an outcome email (available when your experience includes Outcomes).

  2. Customize via the settings as needed.

  3. Select when the email should be sent:

    • Immediately after a user provides their email address.

    • After a set delay.

Send a text message trigger

  1. Enter your message content directly, or

  2. Use an outcome text (available when your experience includes Outcomes).

Next steps

  • Test your communication triggers by completing the experience in Preview mode, submitting your email or phone number, and confirming receipt.

  • Leverage Outcomes to personalize the message content even further based on how users respond.

FAQ

Do I need an unsubscribe or opt-out option?

  • No. Since these messages are triggered only after a user provides their contact info during the experience, additional opt-out functionality is not needed.

I don't see any (+) button from an open node in my builder map. How do I still add a Text or Email trigger?

  • If all of your branches are connected to screens already, then the next best thing to do is hop into the screen editor to set up an Email or Text trigger from there.
