Limit completions of an experience

Updated over 3 weeks ago

In Experiences by Jebbit, consumers can typically engage with an experience multiple times. However, there are scenarios such as voting or sweepstakes entries where limiting the number of completions per user is essential to maintain fairness and adhere to participation rules.

Before you begin

  • Familiarize yourself with the experience's objectives to determine the appropriate limitation strategy.

Set completion limits

Follow these steps to restrict how often a consumer can complete your experience:

  1. Navigate to the experience you wish to modify.

  2. Within the Builder Map, click on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Restrictions along the left of the modal.

  4. Toggle Enable limit completions to on.

  5. Define the time before users can retake experience:

    • To allow one completion every 24 hours, enter 24.

    • To restrict to a single completion ever, input a large number such as 999999.

Next steps

  • Simulate user interactions to ensure the limitation functions as intended.

  • Use analytics to track consumer participation and adjust the limit if necessary.
