Setup & Launch Guide: Lead Form Templates

Collect leads quickly with a simple, branded landing page. This template includes a customizable Lead Capture form and Thank You screen, making it easy to gather customer information, connect integrations, and launch without coding.

Overview

Landing pages are a marketing workhorse, but technical setup often slows campaigns down. This template provides a simple framework for collecting leads while making it easy to customize branding, form fields, and compliance messaging.

This template includes:

  • Lead Capture Screen

  • Thank You Screen

⚠️ Important: A Thank You screen or Redirect URL after form submission is required. Without one of these destinations, submissions cannot complete successfully and leads may not be captured correctly.

Creating an Experience from This Template

To launch this template:

  1. Navigate to Builder → Template Gallery.

  2. Locate the template in the Landing Page / Lead Form section in the template gallery.

  3. Hover over the template and select Use Template.

  4. Enter a name for your experience.

  5. (Recommended) Apply your Style Guide to automatically brand the experience.

  6. Click Create.

The platform will generate a new experience using the template structure and selected branding. Once created, you can customize the content, design, and recommendation logic to fit your specific use case.

💡 Tip: We recommend creating and applying a Style Guide before launching templates to streamline setup and maintain consistent branding across experiences.

Step 1: Apply Your Brand Styling

The first step is to replace the template branding with your own. If your Style Guide is already created, this will happen automatically during template creation.

Review and update:

  • Colors

  • Fonts

  • Logos

  • Background Images

  • Buttons

  • Imagery

Applying your branding first makes it easier to visualize the final experience as you customize content and recommendations.

Haven't created a Style Guide yet?

No problem. You can still apply your branding directly within the experience.

  1. From the Builder Map, select the Design icon in the toolbar.

  2. The Experience Style Guide modal will open

  3. Update your colors, fonts, logos, buttons, and imagery.

  4. Click Apply to update all screens.

Recommended Action

Complete all branding updates before modifying copy, logic, or outcomes. Applying your style guide first makes it easier to visualize the final experience before updating content. Review Style Guide Overview for more details and instructions.

Step 2: Configure the Lead Capture Screen

The Lead Capture screen is where visitors submit their information. Update the form to collect only the information needed for your campaign.

Update Form Fields

Add, remove, or reorder fields as needed.

Common fields include:

  • Email Address

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Phone Number

  • Custom Fields

For additional field types and configuration options, see Form Screens Overview.

Update Opt-In Language

Review and customize all consent messaging to align with your organization's legal and compliance requirements.

Examples include:

  • Marketing consent language

  • Privacy Policy references

  • Terms and Conditions

  • Required compliance disclosures

Verify Hyperlinks

Confirm that all links direct users to the correct destinations, including:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Terms of Service

  • Additional compliance resources

Step 3: Configure the Submission Destination

After a visitor submits the form, they must be routed to either:

  • A Thank You screen, or

  • A Redirect URL

This step is required to ensure form submissions complete successfully and lead data is captured accurately.

If using the included Thank You screen, update the messaging to match your campaign (see step 4).

If redirecting users to another webpage, configure the appropriate Redirect URL from the Builder Map.

⚠️ Important: Every Lead Capture screen should end with either a Thank You screen or a Redirect URL. Omitting this step can prevent successful lead collection.

Step 4: Customize the Thank You Screen

The Thank You screen confirms that the visitor's information has been received.

Update the following:

  • Headline

  • Body copy

  • Button text (if applicable)

  • Call-to-action

  • Images or branding elements

If you prefer to send visitors to another webpage instead, you can replace the Thank You screen with a Redirect URL.

Step 5: Test the Experience

Before publishing, complete a full testing pass. From the Builder Map, you will click on the Preview button to test your experience.

Review:

  • Branding and styling

  • Experience content

  • Lead capture requirements

  • Consent language and hyperlinks

  • Redirect URL

Next Steps

Once testing is complete, your Lead Form Experience is ready to publish and generate launch links by toggling to the launch section from the Builder Map.
