Tag Experiences for Clearer Insights

Experience tagging allows you to organize, filter, and analyze your campaigns more efficiently. By applying tags to each experience, you can ensure consistent benchmarking, generate clearer insights, and eliminate the need for manual one-off data pulls.

Before you begin

  • Establish a naming convention for tags. This helps maintain consistency across experiences and improves the accuracy of reporting.

  • Tags can be applied to any experience within your brand account.


Add, manage, and use tags

Add tags to an experience:

  1. Open the Settings for the experience you want to tag.

    • You can access this from the builder map or the experience library.

  2. Locate the Tagging section.

  3. Use the search field to select one or more existing tags.

  4. To create a new tag:

    • Start typing the new tag name.

    • A new tag will be created if one doesn't already exist (case-insensitive).

  5. Click Save to confirm.

    • Tags are applied immediately.

Manage Tags

To rename or delete tags:

  1. Open the tag dropdown in the experience settings.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to a tag.

  3. Select one of the following options:

    • Rename: Enter the new name and confirm.

    • Delete: Confirm deletion to remove the tag.

  4. If two tags have the same name (case-insensitive), they will automatically merge.


Filter Reports by Tags

Parent Brand Dashboard

  1. Select a Parent Brand from the dashboard.

  2. Use the dropdowns below the chart to filter by tags.

  3. Select one or more tags.

    • Reports update dynamically based on your selection.

Experience Analytics

  1. Click the gear icon next to the column names.

  2. Choose Tags, then click Done.

  3. Click the filter icon in the Tag column.

  4. Select the tags you want to apply.


Use tags in AI Insights

To analyze performance data using tags:

  1. Reference tags to pull and analyze data for specific tagged experiences.

  • Yes, experiences can have multiple tags.

Can tags be shared across brands in a parent account?

  • Tags are created at the child brand level, but in parent reporting, you can see and filter by all tags across child brands. Duplicate tags are automatically merged.

Do tags carry over when copying an experience?

  • Yes, in the copy modal, the Experience Tags option is automatically selected.
