The Mailchimp integration allows you to automatically send lead capture data collected from Experiences by Jebbit to your Mailchimp subscription list. The integration helps you efficiently manage and nurture leads and personalize Mailchimp content via Merge Tags.
Before you begin
Request an integration from our team.
Ensure you have an active Mailchimp account with manager level access.
Create or identify the Mailchimp list (audience) to which you'd like to send leads.
Confirm that the Mailchimp API key is accessible to you.
Create the Mailchimp integration
Follow these steps to securely provide Experiences by Jebbit with access for the integration.
Generate an API Key within your Mailchimp account
Generate an API key to enable API access.
Select your profile name to expand the Account Panel, and choose Account.
Select the Extras drop-down menu and choose API keys.
Select Create a Key.
Label your Key as Jebbit Integration, so you know what application uses this key.
Could not display content
Copy the API Key to a .txt file
Copy each of these values and paste into a .txt file.
Copy the Audience ID
Navigate to the section where your audiences are listed.
Choose the specific audience you want to send data to.
Navigate to Audience name and defaults under Settings.
Select and copy the Audience ID.
Paste the Audience ID into your .txt file.
Map Audience fields and Merge Tags
If you plan to personalize your Mailchimp emails using Attributes collected through Jebbit, you can do this using Mailchimp Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags.
Navigate to Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags under Settings.
In your Mailchimp audience, look for existing fields or |MERGE| tags that correspond to your chosen Jebbit Attributes.
Or, create a new Audience Field.
Ensure the Field type for each new field is set to text.

Additional considerations
When finalizing your data strategy, clarify the following with your team.
Whether you will be collecting EU data, Non-EU data, or both.
Whether users should be subscribed automatically or not.
Any logic surrounding opt-Ins, for example.
Only users who have opted in will be sent to Cordial (you must have an opt-in box)
Only users who have opted in OR opt-in is NULL (you have an opt-in box or an automatic opt-in by entering PII)
All users regardless of choice, and you can choose to have the opt-in status sent as a data value from Jebbit
Add your credentials in the platform
Once you have the required credentials and endpoint details, add them directly to your integration in the platform.
Note: All integration credentials are now managed directly within the platform. From the Integrations module, you can name your integration, enter the required credentials, and configure your field mappings — no file submission required.
