With the Shopify Contacts integration via Experiences by Jebbit, you can leverage zero-party data to enrich your CRM, personalize your content and run emails triggers. This feature allows you to send contact and attribute information data back to Shopify.
Before you begin
Confirm you have access to manage apps within Shopify.
Request the integration from our team.
Decide whether you're creating a product match quiz, lead form, or another experience.
Create the Shopify integration
Navigate to Attributes > Integrations in your experience.
Select or search for the Shopify integration.
Select Activate Contacts. You will need to have accepted the Customer Scope when downloading the Jebbit app. If not, then you will be redirected to Shopify to accept the Customer Scope and then returned to Jebbit to complete the Integration.
Click Activate Integration.
Field Mapping for data sync
To ensure that data is passed into Shopify from your experience, you must map at least one of the following fields within your experience setup:
Email
First Name / Last Name
Customer ID
If you wish to pass additional information for each user, then you will also map Attributes onto your experience.
Note: For Customer ID, this must be passed as a URL parameter into the experience launch link using the uid
parameter. Learn more here.
Finalize in Shopify
Once the data is passed successfully, log in to your Shopify admin to review and approve the metafields. This step ensures that data submitted from Experiences by Jebbit is actionable within Shopify workflows and automations.
