The BlueConic Attribute Integration enables seamless, real-time data flow between Experiences by Jebbit and the BlueConic Customer Data Platform (CDP). This integration empowers you to capture first-party data from your experiences and pass it directly into BlueConic in real time. Whether you're enriching customer profiles, collecting leads, or triggering real-time lifecycle orchestration events, this integration simplifies your data management and activation process.
This integration is available to customers who use both Experiences by Jebbit and BlueConic. If you’re already leveraging both platforms, setting up the integration is quick and easy.
Before you begin
Ensure you have active accounts with both Experiences by Jebbit and BlueConic.
Administrative access to configure integrations in both platforms.
Review the Experiences by Jebbit Connection page for instructions on how to configure the connection in BlueConic CDP.
In BlueConic you must create a first-party hostname and complete DNS verification. Only hostnames with a READY status will sync to Experiences.
Use cases
Personalization at Scale: Use data collected via Experiences by Jebbit to refine customer segmentation and personalize marketing efforts within BlueConic and its integration partners.
Lead Nurturing: Automatically populate BlueConic with lead data collected and its 1st party data
Event Triggers: Drive lifecycle events, such as email campaigns or retargeting ads, based on real-time data updates.
Domain considerations
For optimal tracking and profile unification, it’s essential that the CDP, parent website, and Experiences by Jebbit operate on the same domain. This ensures 1st-party cookies can be set and read across sessions. Unifying to a single domain simplifies integration and maximizes tracking accuracy.
When you connect a BlueConic CDP tenant to the Experiences by Jebbit brand, the first-party hostnames created in BlueConic automatically generate custom domains in Experiences. This ensures that launch links and embedded iframes align with the BlueConic script.
Each time a new hostname is added in BlueConic, it is also created in Experiences by Jebbit.
Hostnames are sent from BlueConic to Experiences by Jebbit every 10 minutes once the connection is turned on.
DNS and hostname requirements
Only hostnames with a READY status in BlueConic (DNS verified) are eligible. The region is also sent the first time a hostname syncs, and again whenever the connection setup changes.
To achieve READY status:
Follow the DNS instructions displayed in the BlueConic Hostname tab.
Add the DNS record within 14 days of creating the BlueConic hostname.
After making DNS changes, allow up to 48 hours for verification to complete.
Note: For existing connections, the Save button will be active (blue) once you open the setup page after installing the latest version. Please click the Save button to ensure that the connection saves the region.
Domain configuration
Once synced, domains appear in your brand under Settings > Domain Configuration.
When running Experiences stand-alone on the BlueConic first-party hostname, make sure that the hostname is either:
Created as a new channel in BlueConic, or
Configured as an alias for an existing channel.
When creating and publishing an experience, you can then select the appropriate domain for that campaign. The selected domain will display on the Launch tab.
Set up the Experiences by Jebbit and BlueConic Connection
Access the Connection in BlueConic:
Log in to your BlueConic platform.
Navigate to the Connections tab.
Search for the Jebbit integration.
Authenticate and Connect
Follow the prompts to authenticate your Experiences by Jebbit account. This step ensures secure communication between the platforms.
Map Your Attributes
Within the connection settings, you can map data attributes collected from Jebbit to the corresponding BlueConic profile properties.
Mapped attributes will automatically pass from Jebbit to BlueConic in real time.
Test and Activate
Once mapping is complete, test the connection by running an experience. Verify that data appears correctly in your BlueConic profiles.
Once activated, you will notice the Activation label on your BlueConic tile on the Integrations tab.
Control data passing on a per-campaign basis
Once the Connection is made, by default all campaigns will pass attributes and campaign data into the CDP. However, if there are certain campaigns you do not want to pass data for, you have the control to turn off sending the data. To turn off passing data, do the following:
Open the experience and open the builder map.
