Add screen names with AI

Guidelines for naming screens to improve clarity and data accuracy.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Adding clear, descriptive screen names helps ensure accurate analytics, improves navigation within the Builder Map, and reduces reporting confusion. The new AI-powered screen naming feature in Experiences by Jebbit simplifies this process with a single click, eliminating guesswork and improving consistency.

Before you begin

  • If you do not see the AI screen naming feature in your account, please contact BlueConic support for assistance.

Create screen names

You can name screens directly within the builder map or editor using the following methods:

  1. Access the editor or builder map for your experience.

  2. Hover over the screen name field to reveal the rename controls.

    • AI Naming: Click the AI icon to generate a descriptive name automatically.

    • Manual Naming: Click the text field and type your desired name.

This new inline naming feature streamlines the process, allowing for quicker and more efficient screen organization.

Rename screens

Alternatively, you can rename screens using the Builder Map:

  1. Access the Builder Map or Editor for your experience.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the screen you wish to rename.

  3. Select Rename from the dropdown menu.

  4. Choose your preferred method:

    • AI Naming: Click the AI icon to generate a new name.

    • Manual Naming: Click the text field and enter your desired name.

  5. Save the new screen name.

Note: You can still manually edit the name to your liking at any time, even after using the AI-generated suggestion.

Delete or replace existing names

To change an existing name, follow the same steps above. Replacing the old name with either a manually typed or AI-generated name will overwrite the current entry.

Tip: Always assign final screen names before publishing. This preserves data integrity, prevents fragmented reporting, and delivers clear, actionable insights from day one.
