By using the Outcome Name column in your DPF sheet, you can control which types of products appear in recommendations based on how users respond to questions. When you have multiple product categories, this feature ensures users only see relevant products tied to their preferences or answers. It enhances personalization and improves the overall user experience by aligning DPF results with your outcome logic.

FAQ
What is the difference between using categories and using outcomes?
Categories cannot be used for filtration logic when setting up your DPF, while outcomes can. Meaning, when you assign an utcome to a product in the DPF, (by typing in the Outcome Name under the ‘Outcome Name’ column), you can then filter by that Outcome Name. It allows you to exclude all products that do not fit within that Outcome Name. Categories are not filtering logic, but rather a front-end placeholder, that comes with design controls. You can read more about categories here.
