You can easily add your Meta (Facebook) pixels to any experience directly from the user interface.
There are a couple of benefits for adding pixels to your experiences. Adding pixels will allow you to track views, completions and leads on each screen. Tracking pixel events also allows you to create segments based on consumer responses, which will help you with retargeting efforts.
Before you begin
Ensure you have access to your Meta pixel ID and initialization script.
If you plan to optimize for custom conversion events, set up a custom domain for your experiences.
Add Meta (Facebook) pixels
Follow the steps below to add meta pixel to your experience.
Via the Builder Map select More > Add Vendor Pixels.
To add pixels to individual screens, click the blue three-dot menu on the desired screen.
Copy and paste your Meta initialization script into the text box under the Facebook tab. You need to ensure the pixel ID is included and validated by the platform.
Once you paste your JavaScript tag into the large text box, you can define your events. The Meta pixel workflow lets you define events on each individual screen or fire an event across all screens. View all your events by expanding the table all at once at the top of the modal.
Custom Meta events for optimization
Before you can optimize for a custom conversion event on Meta, you’ll need to launch experiences on a custom domain. By default, all of the launch links in the platform use the Experiences by Jebbit domain. Here is the current structure of a launch link:
Request your own custom domain directly from the experiences platform. Just ensure you own the domain.
Once your custom domain is ready, you’ll be able to launch experiences with your own domain. Within the launch page of the user interface your launch links will be formatted like the following.
Next, you'll want to verify your domain with Meta. This will allow you to create and prioritize eight of your own custom optimization events on your own domain within the Meta Business Manager.
Next steps
Test your pixel implementation using the preview link in your Chrome browser to ensure events are firing correctly.

FAQ
Can I use Meta's conversion API?
You are able to pass your events from Experiences by Jebbit to Meta's conversion API. All you need to do is provide your Experiences by Jebbit rep your Meta access token to connect to the conversion API. Whether you pass the events from Experiences to the Meta conversion API or not, the set-up will still be the same.
What is the difference between a Standard Event and a Custom Event?
There are three types of standard events which we can pass to Meta, which are easily selectable from the dropdown. Standard Events fire 'On Load', and Custom Events can fire 'On Load' or 'On Response.' Custom Events are typically used to segment your users based on the responses they submit. These would be setup as 'On Response' events. All you need to do is add the value you want to pass for each button click.
